High Sheriff of Gwynedd Crimebeat Awards 2017

Gwynedd teams and officers and have been awarded during the annual High Sheriff of Gwynedd Crimebeat Awards on Wednesday, March 22nd.

Individuals awarded included Sgt Iwan Jones who was awarded in recognition of his leadership skills and his selfless approach to public service given to the communities he serves.

PCSO Carwyn Gilford was also awarded in recognition of his work with local residents and young people to develop and deliver his Pentraeth Diversionary Project.

The Bala Safer Neighbourhood Team was awarded due to PCSO Iwan Roberts and PCSO Lona Davenport’s constant dedication to their community and the invaluable, accessible and visible service they provide.

Various Crimebeat projects were also awarded for their work in the community.

Ysgol Llanllechid received an award in recognition of the work of the pupils and staff in tackling bullying and providing a safe and friendly school environment.

Coed Mawr Summer Fun Days were also awarded in recognition of the Coed Mawr Community Centre and PCSO Cara Davies and their invaluable work to support young people.

Finally, the Holyhead Safer Neighbourhood Police Team received an award in recognition of the work supporting the young people of Holyhead and for reducing anti-social behaviour.
