Rhyl Summer Adventure

Rhyl South Safer Neighbourhood Team obtained funding through the High Sheriff of Clwyd Crimebeat Fund to work in partnership with Marsh Tracks, Rhyl Cycling Club’s Coach Dave Henley and Rhyl Adventure Playground (RAPA) to host a summer programme of activities for local kids.

During the Summer Holidays RAPA have run a series of events encouraging young people who live on the Rhydwen Drive Estate to take part in various environmental related projects that have improved the estate and the playground.

This funding was secured by local Community Beat Manager PC Steph Ball.  A group of children have taken part in the funded cycling sessions providing them with the equipment required to use this excellent local facility as a reward for all their hard work.

They have a further two more sessions to look forward to over the next two weeks.
