Our new High Sheriffs are delighted to announce the appointment of their Police Cadets for their year in office. High Sheriff of Clwyd, Karen Farrell-Thornley and High Sheriff of Gwynedd, Sarah Foskett JP.

Karen Farrell-Thornley, High Sheriff of Clwyd, introduced her Cadets at her Declaration ceremony held in April at Myddleton College, Denbigh.
This year, the High Sheriff of Clwyd will have 4 Volunteer Police Cadets, two from the Colwyn Bay unit and two from the Wrexham unit. VPC Seren Davies and Lucy Lander from Colwyn Bay and Charlie Jones-Capper and Ruby Price from Wrexham were presented with their High Sheriff badges at the ceremony in the presence of the Lord Lieutenant of Clwyd, Chief Constable Amanda Blakeman, His Honour Judge Rhys Rowlands and invited guests.

In Gwynedd the High Sheriff, Sarah Foskett JP, has welcomed Volunteer Police Cadets Dewi Rogers and Libby Owen at as her High Sheriff Cadets who will accompany her on official visits and youth engagement event during her year in office. Dewi and Libby were presented with their High Sheriff’s badges at Sarah’s Declaration in April at Harlech Church.
